The two Main ski slopes in Bansko are Chalin Valog and Shiligarnika they are 10km above the town on the northern slopes of Pirin, they are a 25 minute ski life ride from the town Bansko.
The resort has excellent snow cover for 5 months from December to May and the slopes are suitable for beginners and experts. The slopes are also perfect for snowboarders allowing snowboarders to build their own jumps for suit their ability,
Competitions are set up where skiers and snow boarders can take part on the new piste on Shiligarnika.
